Det er soldater, som bærer bårerne ind i et særligt telt, der er rejst i den ene ende af klubben Chapecoenses hjemmebane.

Det er et forholdsvist lille stadion med plads til 19.000 tilskuere. Det ser ud til, at hver en plads er besat, selv om himlen har åbnet sluserne og lader kraftige regnbyer piske ned over ceremonien.

De mange døde mennesker er ofrene for flystyrtet i mandags lokal tid.

Da var det brasilianske fodboldhold med både spillere og andre, der var tilknyttet holdet, på vej i et chartret fly til Medellin i Colombia for at spille finale i en sydamerikansk turnering.

Flyet styrtede ned i nogle højdedrag nær ved Medellin, tilsyneladende fordi det løb tør for brændstof.

Katastrofen i Colombia har sat en brat og tragisk stopper for en forrygende sæson for Chapecoense, der aldrig tidligere er nået frem til så prestigefyldt en finale.

De 71 døde mennesker blev fredag bragt til Medellin, hvorfra de blev fløjet til Brasilien.

Fredag sluttede tre dages landesorg for ofrene i Brasilien.
