En verden uden mundbind og håndsprit, men med glade folkemængder som står tæt sammen i massiv jubel.

Sådan er virkeligheden dog lige nu i New Zealand.

Landet med mere end 5 millioner indbyggere har registreret imponerende få corona-tilfælde. Cirka 2.500 er blevet smittet, og derfor agerer landet kulisse nu for vilde scener og billeder.

Det store sejlads America's Cup blev derfor afholdt på almindelig, ikke-coronapræget vis, og tusinder af glade sejlsportsfans har fulgt med i store grupperinger.

Og på billederne fra byen Auckland ser man en verden, der ikke engang lugter af corona.

Kameraer og selfiebilleder afløs afstanden og mundbindene, da Team New Zealand til stor jubel vandt America's Cup foran italienske Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli.

Vinderen kåres over 13 sejladser, og det er fjerde gang, at Team New Zealand vinder det prestigefulde trofæ.
