Den danske film med Mads Mikkelsen i den ene mandlige hovedrolle skal dyste om en Golden Globe for bedste udenlandske film.
Succesen fortsætter for den danske film »En kongelig Affære«, der er instrueret af Nicolaj Arcel. Torsdag er nomineringerne til de amerikanske Golden Globe-priser blevet offentliggjort, og her den historiske film, der genfortæller trekantsdramaet mellem den unge dronning Caroline Mathilde, kong Christian den 7. og kongens livlæge Struensee blandt de nominerede i kategorien bedste udenlandske film.
Filmen har siden sin premiere allerede opnået flere succeser.
I september blev den udvalgt til at være Danmarks bud på en Oscar-vinder af den danske Oscarkomité, og filmen vandt to sølvbjørne ved Filmfestivalen i Berlin: En for manuskriptet og en for bedste mandlige hovedrolle til Mikkel Boe Følsgaard for at spille Christian den 7.
Golden Globe er journalisterne i Hollywoods filmpris. De andre nominerede i kategorien for bedste udenlandske film er »Amour«, »The Intouchables«, »Kon-Tiki« og »Rust and Bone«.
Prisen bliver uddelt i midten af januar.

Jessica Alba, Megan Fox and Ed Helms were on hand with the The Hollywood Foreign Press Association at the Beverly Hilton to unveil nominees in the 25 categories in film and television.
